Brianna and her refusal to do her job
This woman, you would think everythjing was directly from her pocket. You give them every bit of i nformantion they ask for, then they still want more. i you get this person as a case worker you may as well start packing because she will not do her job to even get your sale delayed.

We got in mail about foreclose our home in court date
They saved my home and my life.
Good experience - They saved my home. I am forever greatful
The process was a bit complex. You have to dig up old mortgage paperwork, submit a hardship letter and get the application notarized.
The process is designed to *** out people who are not going to be successful at catching up with their mortgages and should have never become home owners in the first place. I qualified to have all of the arrears paid and half of my mortgage paid for a year. Now 5 years later I am back on my feet, my credit score is better than average and I can put part of my salary into retirement savings.
In a couple of months I will reach the point where my step forward loan will be 100% forgiven. The program worked for me, it saved my house.
Life changing
- Very grateful
Land Contracts not allowed
I was working with this step forward the Presque Isle County Treasurer gave me the info I was so excited at first. I could never seem to provide enough information.
I would send the papers they asked for. I send a copy of my land contract and then they ask if all payments are current. I provided proof. Then she asked for a Deed.
You don't get a deed until your mortgage is paid. Also you cant file a deed at court house unless all taxes are paid. So a catch 22 situation here. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she gave the number I just called so no supervisor available.
This is a horrible program with no help to the people. Shanon Merchant 1:22 PM (22 hours ago) to Nicole what information can I get you that would help please Shanon Merchant 11:15 AM (14 minutes ago) to StepForward I would like a review of my case I supplied everything Nicole asked for no one ever said land contract were not allowed until I was all done. you can not record a deed until all taxes are paid in full. So this is a real problem for people like me is there anything else that can be done.

Unfortunately without this proof we cannot deem you eligible to receive assistance with this program. I will have to decline your application at this time, and will be sending out a decline letter. I encourage you to reach out to a housing counselor in your area as they may have other options that may be able to help you in your situation.
